Tcl Flow-based Programming - TFP
Author: George Peter Staplin
Abstract
Flow-based programming is an interesting old concept. It's similar to dataflow programming. In this particular case I have chosen to use the power of Tcl to create a domain-specific language in Tcl for Flow-based programming.
Flow-based programming can roughly be characterized as a series of processes that occur asynchronously and communicate via ports. The processes may be connected in a variety of ways to form new programs.
